A human rights activist, Sheraz Khurram, on Thursday embarked upon interfaith harmony bicycle tour from Lahore to Islamabad. While talking to the newsmen before leaving to Islamabad, Khurram said that in view of growing religious intolerance in the country there is a dire need of interfaith harmony.

He said that religious harmony between people of different faiths would go a long way to ameliorate Pakistan's image abroad.

He said while moving towards Islamabad he will also visit some mosques, churches, gurdawaras and Hindus temples falling on his way and would offer prayers for the cause of interfaith harmony and progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
